You are more likely to get a reply on the forum as people might know part of your answer but not all of it but someone else knows the rest.

Details: We are looking to sell a Boxford 125TCL lathe, this lathe has had minimal use since new. It was converted to Windows PC control and uses Mach 3, the PC and Mach 3 are included. Since conversion to Mach 3 it has never been used as we have never had the time to gain sufficient knowledge to get it running properly, however, I can get it to run from mach 3 and take a few cuts which it does sucessfully. It is located in a School so you can come and look after 15:30 on certain days if you need to see it and play. I am not sure of value and I do think you will need to assertain for your self it's what you want so we welcome sensible offers. It's heavy we can't really put on a pallet, it will be collect only but can help. I've put my mobile number so you can call, I may be at work near the lathe so can answer questions more easily

Details: This little shaper takes up very little bench space (about the same space a bench drill would occupy) but is capable of real work. This example is in very good order but requires motorising and the automatic feed requires rebuilding as the previous owner's attempts were not good.

The only reason for sale is that soon after purchasing it I found a small planning machine which is what I was looking for anyway!

Details: Under drive type with proper, heavy gauge base. I have given the base a lick of paint but have left the original paint on the machine. The motor according to it's plaque is a 220v 750W 3 phase Brook. I think somebody at some point must have re-wired it, possibly with a static converter incorporated as it works from single phase 240V electrics and starts. I've never really used the machine but have tried it a couple of times and it worked well. A high quality, rigid, heavy yet compact horizontal milling machine. A selection of milling cutters and a tail stock is included. There is no suds pump but the pipework is in place. Please e-mail for more pictures / information.

Details: I have four used Mercer Type 250 dial test indicators which are surplus to requirements. They have had very little use and are in very good condition. These are metric gauges with a 10mm plus travel in 0.01mm divisions.
These gauges cost around £70 plus vat, EACH if purchased new.
I am selling mine for £20 EACH plus £1 packing, postage is at cost price - depending on how you want them sending.

Details: I am looking for a few items that I feel I don`t yet own but would be helpful for future machining.
I`ve just purchased a pillar drill and realise that I could do with some clamping and holding fixtures. Swan neck clamps, small engineers clamps...other than a drill vice I`ve nothing for clamping work onto the bed directly. I`m sure they may also be used on the mill.
I think the title says it all for the rest really. I`d really like a set of parallels and also a reasonably priced Height Gauge.
I just thought I`d place an advert on here before buying new and hopefully save a few pennies. I`m not looking for top end items but at the same time realise that little comes free.

I'm bolting together my 6"Birch lathe(circa 1900) after a long period in storage and need some 5/8 whitworth bolts approx 2" long..It would be nice if they were the early large head(1"1/16AF?) but they are out of sight...
