Very small casting required. Maybe dental?Very small casting required. Maybe dental? Hi all,
Re: Very small casting required. Maybe dental? Provided he is willing to pay and has a 'good 'component to copy, a lost wax foundry working in the jewelry trade would be the best way of dealing with this.
Re: Very small casting required. Maybe dental? I wonder if 3D printing in stainless steel would do the job? It's not too expensive for small parts and should be stronger than the plastic original . Of course, you'd have to model the part in a CAD system first.

Re: Very small casting required. Maybe dental?I have lost wax castings in non-ferrous metals done by a chap here in Sheffield - G&E Allen Ltd; contact Gary - " This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ", or 0114 270 1861. If you want mild steel lost wax, then try " This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ". In both cases they will need a good pattern to work from, one that will withstand fairly high temp for making a vulcanized rubber mould around it. Hope this might help.
