Well it seems that some of the advert blockers are now blocking the adverts from our site, you will need turn off the advert blocker when on this site otherwise the main adverts do not appear.
If you are using adblockplus you can very quickly add this site to the whitelist, find the programs icon and then select disable ABP on homeworkshop.org.uk. This will allow the adverts to be shown on this site only. If you are using an addon then check the help for it to see how you can add this site to the whitelist. We are an advert site so advert blockers can't tell the difference so it's upto you to tell them how to do it. |

The search system is working and can be used by all to find what they are looking for. It simple to use and very quick, it will search for a ID number, a persons name or the title and description for the word or words you enter. Just one warning it will search for the exact wording, IE. Myford Lathe will not match Myford ML10 Lathe but myford will return all matches. You can find it on the menu too your left.

We are no longer sending out the relist emails, this is because Yahoo, who run the emails servers for BTInternet too, was rejecting them. We went though the steps to confirm our reason for sending them but this didn't last long before someone listed them as junk and not just deleting them. Added to this they then started to block our servers from sending any emails so had to stop the system sending any unsolicited emails. The fact you confirm to getting sent the email when you submit an advert seems to be completely ignored by them. We are now getting hassle over the forum but as they is a tick box for that they can't do much. If you want to relist then you can request a remove/edit email about 4 days before your advert runs out and then resubmit then, sorry for the hassle but the other option was to block the offending email address.
