Details: My friend at the scrapyard has just got in a very nice Bridgeport mill from the University. The head is the J2B type and the table size is 9" x 42". The machine is fitted with synchro trace hydraulic copying attachment and comes with the hydraulic pump unit and tank. The axes are driven by hydraulic motors but retain full manual control so you get the best of both worlds. The machine is 3 phase and was in good working order when removed from the workshop last week. The table is in good condition. Details: I have a denford viceroy tds 6sb wood lathe and need a tailstock which is quite a high one. Details: I have to make some room so I have a Clarke compressor for sale. It's a big unit I think it's 125 Liter tank, 2HP single phase motor and a cast iron twin cylinder pump driven by twin V belts, gives about 10 cfm. I have it set to stop pumping at 85 psi but you can alter that up to about 125 psi. Fitted with new NVR switch and overload. Automatic switch has unloader so pump starts with no load. It's very heavy and pretty scruffy. I can probably help with delivery if you are local. I can photograph for you but have to have a tidy up first !

Spindle - bearing are good, runs smooth, even grinds to a good finnish too, just the slide ways are well worn as are the feed screws. fine for small little parts or a rebuild project. This is the 18" table model. No magnetic chuck included in the sale. If you want to come and test the machine with a dial indicator, its not for you, theres lots of slop in all axis's, its wear and not solvable by adjusting the gibs.
Machine currently has 3 phase motor but no switch gear. Single phase would be a easy swap.
Collection only, I can load into a sutable trailer - cant lift heigh enough for pickups sorry. It weighs around the 300 - 400kg range so is well above carboot capacity.

Details: I am seeking any Burnerd/Crawford TruGrip Collets of 'in-between' sizes, i.e. any */32's or */64's or metric of any size. These collets are of a very similar size and appearance to the more common C5-type and are often confused with them, but the Trugrip 5" chuck size collet (there is a larger 7" variant) has a coarser 12TPI L/H thread on the barrel in which is cut 1/8" shallow keyway.

Details: I have just completed a TINKER TOOL and CUTTER GRINDER and i am having trouble with opperation of the tool head; when i push same it stickes on the finger and will not rotate .The tool head is a very good fit in the casting and slides very smoothly untill the tool fitted engages with the finger . Details: I have a set of plans for Lickham Hall, designed by LBSC for Reeves. This was the design he did for a 'proper' GWR Hall after the Ivy Hall design he did for ME (to their spec) leading to a major falling out with them. This loco is now called Lifford Hall and castings are still available from Reeves
The plans do not appear to have been used but have been stored, rolled up, for quite a long time. They are standard plans NOT blueprints and whilst they have one or two places where they are slightly faded they are perfectly legible. There are 11 sheets in all - it looks like a complete set.

Details: I have a denford viceroy tds 6sb wood lathe and need a tailstock which is quite a high one. Alternatively I could make one, out of mt3 from other lathe anyone who has a tailstock mt3 or perhaps mt2 lying around must be reasonably cheap not needing a rolls royce job anything that would be able to be made into a tailstock of a certain height which I could do myself ( fabrication) or better still one from a tds 6sb email in first instance .I also require a tool post holder and dovetail slide which they slide on Alistair
