NEW! logo after 10 years the tread board needed repainting, if any remember the old Green text logo might remember how the tread patten ended up becoming the background. The photos have also been upgraded to add logo's and date/time stamps to the images on upload so that the photos are noticeable for people linking to them.

Details: The Granville horizontal milling machine was largely almost identical to the Centec 2 machine except for a few minor details. Indeed I think they used the same castings! Where the Granville machine was significantly different was in the provision of belt guards on both stages of the drive. Does anyone out there have these guards lying about as many were taken off the original machines so that speed changes could be effected more easily. I have a Granville machine lacking guards so would dearly like to purchase any that are surplus to requirements.

Details: Anybody have a pair of Stevenson's ER32 hex and square collet blocks for sale, or know of a supplier in the UK? Arc used to sell them but they've unfortunately stopped trading. Also, I'm looking for a small bench top milling machine, such as a Sieg 2.7 or 3. Will consider something requiring repairs to controller or motor etc and in need of general tlc. Please get in contact if you can help.

Details: An Archer 2MT to 1MT quick change drill chuck. Very well made and smooth to operate, but has some fine stress cracks to edge of socket as per photo. May be useful for spares or repairs.

Details: A 12" length of 4" diameter "Meehanite" cast iron bar. Continuously cast, no blow holes or internal defects and lovely to machine. Remainder of a piece which I bought over 25 years ago and forgot I still had! Asking £75, which is well below current supplier prices. I may be prepared to cut into smaller lengths if no interest shown in buying the full 12". I also have some 2" diameter Meehanite (not shown in photos) which I am asking £30 for a 12" length, or smaller lengths for a pro-rata price. Collection only, as postage for 4" bar would be very expensive. May be possible to post the 2" bar. Postage would be at cost. Alternatively, I could deliver to the Midlands ME exhibition on Saturday 18th October.

Details: This is a Rishton milling column and head from their bench milling machine but also as used on the Harrison M250 and M300 lathes. I bought it many years ago in a clearout sale. It was new and unused but a spare that had been dragged around for several years, so that is why it looks a bit scuffed. I have run it, powered from 400V three phase, and runs fine on all its speeds. The motor is dual voltage so if you have an inverter then should run ok, I have three phase so used that. Whilst it has run, it has never cut metal. Geared headstock, 0.33hp, speeds 2000/1100/700 and 370/200/130 rpm. Spindle has 2mt fitting. The head has a swivel fitting to the column with a screw thread rise and fall with clamp screws. Bottom of column, 3" diameter, just fits into either the mill base or the lathe support bracket, there is no bracket with the head. Will need to be collected, heavy.
Details: I have a full size large car engine that needs the main bearings bored so I am looking for a line boring kit. Typically these have 3 adjustable supports carrying bearings for a plain shaft into which cutters are inserted (1 bearing at a time). The shaft is rotated by hand or small motor and end feed applied either by hand or autofeed. There were many manufacturers - the photo lifted from the web shows an American version. I work so evenings/weekend best - the answer machine doesn't like the digital BT so keep trying until we get human-human contact. Gary

It has very solid grinding rests, not the usual pressed bean cans you see on inferior makes. there are a selection of grinding wheels , most of which appear to have v little use. Strictly collection only please,no couriers or pallets. I am only 5 or 10 minutes drive off the A1 ,so easy to find
Details: All components shown in the photographs are included but the motor needs to be mounted and connected up. The buyer must take responsibility for removal and collection. Any sensible offer will be considered.

Details: Hi all i haven't been on here for a while, but I have managed to get machining in the garage again, working on a Stuart no9 I bought through here a while back. Anyway, the drawings I have were bad copies and can't make out the text in places, I wondered if anyone would kindly have a set to share? Also looking for a set of Stuart Governor set drawings if anyone has any to share?, to be fair I would love any Stuart drawings as plan to build more models in the future. I would of course cover any costs incurred, I just can't justify paying the Stuart Models prices for a piece of paper. Regards
