Updates

More Features

Well we have more features,

  1. Some of the adverts are messing the formatting , I can only suggest scrolling down, reloading the page or using FireFox or Edge as they obey the formatting rules for the old gnashed table / column / rows system.
  2. Classified Adverts are no longer blocked by advert blockers.
  3. Automatic SSL (TLS 1.2) and www.homeworkshop.* redirection to make the site safe from prying eyes. This means that older XP age systems will not load the page, over 4k hits a day have stopped trying to access the removed forum from 3 years ago.
  4. Updated the submit advert form. Email are now allowed from numbered addresses.
The name, title and description fields will now reject adverts that will trigger the Anti-Spam and give you chance to update them. The errors will now stay light red and the boarder will turn red so you can still read them.
  5. Fractions have been updated, please do not use the ¼, ½ or ¾. You can use 7.1/4 or 3 1/2 to make the system use the correct formatting. Please check the formatting of adverts after submitting and correct any errors using the edit button.
  6. New photo upload system that will use the inbuilt camera function of phones and tablets, check the images as you need to correct the pictures if they are not rotating correctly. Bad images will be removed.
  7. Web URL links have been updated to allow the TLD (Top Level Domains) and allow the number domains. It will now search for the links in the details text adding a https:// to any it finds to help avoid weaker links. I will also pick up typo's like ne space after a full stop so request checking the preview of your advert and using the edit button to correct mistakes.
  8. Check the polls on the left menu to see the result of the votes. Submission of adverts will remain open to all. Advert emails will be hidden behind a site email address and you will have to send it to that email first, the first you send the site an email it will ask you to reply to the site, before the site then sends the first email you sent to the advertiser who then decides to reply. Emails will be wiped when the advert is deleted and stop accepting new emails when the advery is withdrawn. Yes I will allow information adverts to find info / people as the scammers don't to send the emails.
