For Sale: Late Myford Super 7 with powered facing and screwcutting box

Machines (Large Tools)
Myford Super 7 with powered cross feed and screw cutting gearbox + coolant pump.

It comes with the usual accessories, quick change tool post with 3 holders, faceplate, catch plate, 3 jaw (with at least 3 sets of jaws), 4 jaw, fixed steady, coolant tank and pump not show in the photos, it's a tall thing, fabricated tank with a pump that sits on the top, old looking thing, looks a bit industrial but does the job, holds about 2 gallon, happy to supply with a few litres of concentrate cutting fluid which should be enough to last a lifetime.

The beds got very little wear, little to no tight spot at the tailstock end indicating very little wear on the bed. Original paint could do with sharpening up but it doesn't matter. A bit of oil staining on the bare steel work but no rust, it would clean up nicely. Someone has been doing silly things with a hacksaw or file or something and has marked the bed and compound slide, it doesn't affect the use of it, but when I see something like that, it really bothers me, every time I see it I think "what kind of a !@%*& idiot....." There are some paint marks on the tailstock, it will probably clean off. Otherwise it is in good condition and importantly, mechanically it is sound with little to no wear.

I'm having to thin the collection in order to free up cash and space for an upcoming house move. This is one of 4 lathes I own, it's also the most desirable and while I'd love to keep it and get shut of the others they wouldn't generate the same amount of money combined!

It's not immaculate as described, its not been looked after as well as an asset like this should have been, but is in top mechanical condition and capable of very good accurate work.
Price: £2,200.00
