Details:
I have spoken to Adam today and while he has only a few fixes and formatting tweaks I think you deserve an update. The few people that throw the odd quid in the hat (PayPal don't use that terminology) to help the running of the site we are using it to pay for new software to allow updates to the 10 year old code.

1. The email alias scheme is being worked on with some very complex magic taking place behind the scenery. This make making the system still easy for users to use but hard to gain access to a persons details but still allows people to use the site without creating an account. I think if you want to sell you should need an account so we have a valid email address. This would mean that a person sending an email to a alias address would get passed to a correct email user. Adam still want to allow people to create adverts without taking this step. So this is making the validation system need some custom but simple checking methods. More on this once the best ideas have beeen tested before you get to see the results.

2. Formatting codes that where added to the system many years ago but never working where updated to the new html 5 standard but as the site rips any html tags out of messages use a concept used by a lot of forums systems. See the updates post for how to use them.

3. Web links where updated to allow the new domain names to be used and the fact TLS (the SSL replacement) is used by alot of web sites to protect data theft. Because of these changes we ask that basic formatting is followed otherwise the system will treat typos as web site links.

4. Photo upload system has been upgraded to follow web standards, this means it will try to rotate the images from cameras and phones/tablets. They is an issue with images file sizes being so large that your connection speed is timing out before saving the issue. We cannot upgrade your internet speed we are afraid so suggest resizing your images, you can also edit the advert after each picture and add them 1 at a time.

5. Photos are now time stamped with the upload time in UTC (GMT +0:00) and not local time so may look like they are an hour old already. The time stamp will mean if you upload a new picture your browser will get a new file name and download it. If you have already seen the picture then your browser will not as for the image again and save bandwidth.

6. The image checkbox to remove pictures will change to deleting and a white text on a black background when you have clicked to delete it. You do not have to delete the image already in that slot if you replace it as the system deletes the old image before saving the new picture.

7. Watermarks are now more promontory embedded in any picture uploaded to the site. This is to stop people stealing images of your advert and using them in scams.

8. They is a chance that your internet connection was used by a user that was performing harvesting of email address or spamming type posts. A normal user will never email or fill in the posts, as they are not seen by normal users. These have also been updated to avoid tools that help people with software for disabilities. You can use the link in the page that you are shown to remove your self from the blocking list.

9. Preview button has been made nice and big to help you. Please use this as a chance to correct any mistakes of your advert before us moderators then approve or reject it. We also ask that users read the rules so that we do not have to remove breeches of the rules. We understand that people might not be doing it for bad reasons but we do see quite a few who had just not read the simple rules.
