Details: 1. This is a late model Backgeared 3-1/2”x 24” Myford ML4, with Ball-Race Thrust Bearing, Cast Tray, Tumble Reverse, 4-Way Toolpost, Countershaft and a set of Screwcutting Gears. The Chuck is a Crown fitting the standard 1-1/8 x 12tpi Spindle. The machine uses a Morse 2 in the Headstock and comes with a Tailstock Drill. It has been extensively updated with a much larger Carriage Bed, and a new design of Apron to usefully change the Carriage hand ‘Feed’ direction. Have bought a 10” Halifax/Atlas, hence the sale. The total Swing into the ‘Gap’ gives a 10” diameter – 7” over the Bed. 2. A suitable brand new 1/2HP Motor is available separately if required, although a good 1/4HP British single phase period motor, only needing a mounting bracket, can be included free if selected. Also available separately is an original Myford Cast-Iron Stand (with flying “M”) measuring 30”H x 30” L x 18” W – which may be disassembled for transporting. Details: This Wilesco D12 steam plant is in good working order.I have tested it on full steam for 5 minutes and it ran OK. The safety valve blows off when over pressure. In fairly good used condition. Tested with hexamin blocks but could run on meths. Sold as seen and no warrantee on the boiler. Cash on collection preferred but I can post at cost.

Details: This is an Edwards Treadle Guillotine, a sturdy machine in good clean condition with a cut capacity of 16swg. Overall sizes are Width 48" x Height 43" Depth 29" The blade is in good condition with two edges not touched or used. The photos show the machine in erected state. It has now been dismantled to move location for selling. All fixing bolts and screws are in the holes that they are to be attached to the corresponding part. Details: I'm looking for a supplier who can cut a piece of brass sheet which will be used in the same way as boiler banding. Thickness not critical - anywhere between 0.5 and 1.0mm Size: 35mm wide 1260mm long My searching finds lots of suppliers who have up to 1m length - at around £12. But jump to 1260mm and the only quote I had was five times as much. Suggestions welcome
Details: This is a very well specified Pultra 1750 lathe. I put this set together some time ago, intending to keep it for my personal use but, after over 2 years of not cutting metal - I realise I'll never really use it - so someone else should have the pleasure of using it. The set consists of the lathe/motor unit, mounted on a wooden base, plus two (genuine Pultra) boxes of accessories. The headstock has been stripped/cleaned and re-built (so may, possibly, require minor adjustment after 'bedding in'. It's got a 'lever action' tailstock and is driven by an electronically controlled, 550W, industrial sewing machine motor - capable of being adjusted between 100 and 4500 rpm (in increments of 100 rpm). Given the ratio of the pulleys, this gives a headstock speed of, approximately, 80 - 4000 rpm. There is also an, adjustable brightness, LED work light. Box 1 of the accessories contains 57 'wire' collets, 8 large diameter collets, 4 cup-chucks, a 3-jaw chuck (Bernerd, with 'reversible' jaws), a 4-jaw chuck (brand new), a 'box chuck', a faceplate, a catchplate, a tailstock drill chuck, 'lantern' and 'block' toolposts, various centres (full, half and 'internal'), plus holders and various sized drive dogs. Box 2 contains a compound slide and clamp bolt, tailstock and headstock riser blocks (increases the centre height), a 'flip-over' tool-rest, a rear tool-post mount and 'high' (for use with the riser blocks) and 'low' 'lantern' type toolposts. Details: A Myford ML10 leadscrew and pinion in fair, but used, condition. There is some wear at the headstock end of the leadscrew but the reason why it was removed from the lathe was to fit a clutch and a new split leadscrew. The price includes postage, knock a tenner off if you intend to collect. It would be sent Royal Mail, tracked and 'signed-for' and strapped to a stiff batten to prevent bending in transit.
