Details: I have been clearing a late friends house and found a small glass lathe, This is a specialised machine for scientific glass blowing, or the restoration of glassware or even repairing rare radio valves! Specifically for joining glass components by fusing or welding the joints with the use of oxy gas burners whist the two components are sychronously rotated between two opposed geared headstocks each with three jaw chuck having the jaws slotted to hold fibre extensions to hold the work. One headtock is sliding to allow length adustment and slight compression to complete the joint. I believe that some art glass artists also use them. The capacity is aboit 4.5" Centre height and a bit over 12" There are a couple of other torches with it. It will need a motor fitting (I probably have one) and a bit of TLC. It is heavy and I have removed the headstocks to bring the bed weight down to 50 Kg. It will need to be collected from South Somerset. I am loath to scrap it if anyone can make use of it. Details: I wanted to do an Imperial thread on my Viceroy recently but I found it was impossible, I've cut imperial threads before using the Spreadsheet on the Denford site for guidance. With the gears that I have I couldn't get within 10% of the thread I wanted. What I would like to get is a combination gear or possibly a 38T stud gear. If you can help at all I would like to hear from you.
Details: I have a PlanetCNC 4 axis motion controller with licence. Bought for a project that never materialised. Current price is £200+. £150 incl. postage. Currently fitted into a PlanetCNC control box with PSU`s for steppermotors and 4 axis jogging control. The control box seems to be unavailable at the moment but will sell for £150.incl. postage. All you would need is 3 or 4 stepper motors and you would have a full CNC system to retrofit a lathe or mill.

Details: Centec 2B Milling Machine with Vertical head and Horizontal attachment. Table power feed. Centec machine vice (which at some point has a repair to one of the jaws). New table longitudinal feed screw fitted which I sourced from Germany. Soluble oil tank and pump. Nice clean original 3 phase machine which can be seen working on a converter which is not included in the sale. I am very reluctant to sell but it is simply not being used. Any buyer will have to provide the muscle to move it, because unfortunately I cannot.

All in good useable condition, but boxes a bit tatty with sizes faded, but each set of parallels are individually marked. Details: I believe this is used to switch something on and off by applying pressure. It may have been called a knee switch. It is marked RS 316-945 and is simply a two metre tube attached to a flat sided bulb.

Details: I have an Edge Technology pro tram system to square the milling head to the table(like a bridgeport, for example). Look it up on the Machine DRO website. Has a 1/2" spigot fitted. (SOLD) Taylor Hobson pantagraph diamond cup wheel, new and never used, along with 2 high speed spindles ( less captive nuts) and a high speed FC3 spindle. Details: Quality Swiss made JF Type 3 Jaw chuck with reversible jaws mounted on standard 8mm watchmaker's collet. In excellent condition and body is 70mm in diameter.
